BASIS OF AWARD:  The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities.
Plans and specifications are on file in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Forrest County at Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Plans and Proposals may be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. Electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com, but may be submitted in hard copy at the Office of the Chancery Clerk.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
Certified check or Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of total bid payable to:  Forrest County and the State of Mississippi, must accompany each proposal.
Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will not be considered in making the award.
It is desired by the Board that the successful bidder or bidders use local materials and local labor where practicable.
The Forrest County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
