NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, will at 9:00 o’clock A.M., on the 5th day of February, 2024, at the Monroe County Chancery Building, Aberdeen, Mississippi, receive sealed or electronic bids and award contracts for one year, from the first Monday in February, 2024, to the first Monday in February, 2025, to the lowest responsible bidders for furnishing materials and supplies to Monroe County, Mississippi. Bidders MUST bid on all items F.O.B. Monroe County, Mississippi, or specifically state otherwise. It is to be and is specifically stated that the bids received will be for a period of 12 months.

BIDS for the purchase of the following supplies and materials in compliance with the above specifications shall be received on the following:
(1) Concrete slabs and accessories for bridges
(2) Crushed Washed Limestone furnished and delivered to each district
– must meet State Highway Department specifications. Prices are
to be a lump sum total per ton including transportation to each
district. Bids with fuel adjustment clause must give fuel costs
used at time of bids.
