Ducks Unlimited, Inc. (DU) is requesting qualifications from reputable engineering firms for engineering design services, material testing, regulatory coordination, and related technical reports on the proposed McFaddin NWR Star Lake GIWW Siphon project. The general intent of the project is the increase freshwater inflow to the Star Lake system south the GIWW located on McFaddin NWR. All materials testing, design, and reports are to be performed by or under the supervision of a professional engineer licensed in the State of Texas to perform this type of work. Unless otherwise indicated all testing shall be in accordance with applicable ASTM standards or equal substitute as determined by the project engineer. The Design Analysis shall be performed by or under the supervision of a professional engineer licensed in the State of Texas to perform this type of work. The selected firm will be issued a Task Order with a more refined scope of work in order to deliver 100% plans, specifications, and estimates.
