NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Police Jury of the Parish of Allen, Louisiana will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 4:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Police Jury Building located at 602 Court Street in Oberlin, Louisiana 70655, for the purchasing of white goods and other metal material.
Must have a Certificate of Liability Insurance
Must be able to remove white goods and other metal material from the Oakdale, Oberlin, Kinder and LeBlanc sites in a timely manner.
Must allow 4 working days for each site to remove all materials from the time contacted.
Bidder will be responsible for the removeable of Freon and other oils in all white goods and any other metal containers.
Bidder will price white goods and metal materials by per ton. Also, bidder will be required to remove all available materials at each site.
The weight ticket showing the weight of the load should be attached to the load count ticket. Two copies of the ticket along with payment will be turned in by the 15th day of each month to the Allen Parish Police Jury.
The bid will be for a one year period starting January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. Bid will be publicly open and read aloud at the time specified during the regular meeting on December 5, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.
Specifications may be withdrawn any time prior to the closing time scheduled for receipt. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. Otherwise, all bids remain in force and effective for thirty (30) days following aforementioned time. Envelopes containing proposals shall be identified as “Bid” and the person bidding on the face of the envelope along with contact information. The Police Jury reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities and to award as it might elect.
