Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Richland Creek WMA Phase III Wetland Enhancements Project located on the North Units of Richland Creek WMA, Freestone County, TX 75148 (31°58'19.77"N; 96°04'59.89"W).

The Richland Creek Phase III Wetland Enhancements project generally consists of the construction of three new levees, elevating and resurfacing 2830 linear feet of existing roadway, the supply and installation of 11-24” corrugated aluminum pipes (428 linear feet) with 7-48” aluminum risers, and 2-24” canal gates. Additionally, the levees are to be capped with a total of 2,899 tons of rock riprap and 1,688 tons of surface aggregate. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, excavation, water control, pollution control, seeding, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein. Contract completion time is 90 calendar days.
