Bid Law Requirement Update: Act 406
Vendors will be required to submit certain documentation with RFP submission, i.e. affidavits, proof of insurance, etc. These requirements will be outlined specifically in the instructions of each RFP package. Vendors should continue to carefully read and respond accordingly per the requirements of the RFP packages. These changes are pursuant Louisiana Public Bid Law more specifically, Act 406 of the 2016 Louisiana Legislative Regular Session. Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) from qualified firms to provide Automation and Industrial Control Services for the Jefferson Parish Department of Public Works, Drainage.
 
Jefferson Parish is requesting proposals from professional firms to provide all scheduled annual preventative maintenance, as needed technical support services in four (4) categories: Demand Services; Emergency Services; Premium services; and Storm Services.
 
All proposals will be evaluated on criteria such as vendor’s technical proposal, qualifications and experience, financial profile and proposal responsiveness and other criteria more specifically defined in the RFP document.  The maximum total points for each proposal are set at 100 points
                       
PRE–Proposal: Not Required
 
Effective 1, 2020, all proposals must be submitted online. Submittals will only be accepted electronically via the Parish’s e-Procurement system, Central Bidding. All vendors will be required to register with Central Bidding. Jefferson Parish vendors are able to register for free by accessing the following link: www.centralauctionhouse.com/registration.php.
 
Until 3:30 P.M. LOCAL TIME ON October 6, 2021.

Reference RFP Section 1.4.G: Rockwell Automation has discontinued the Solution Partner Program. They replaced it with a System Integrator designation that has four levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. As of this date, Rockwell has not awarded the Platinum level to any company. The current equivalent to the Solution Partner designation is Gold System Integrator. Please change the requirement from Solution Partner to Gold System Integrator.

Reference RFP Section 1.14, Starting on the fifth line, this reads, "A proposal guarantee may be forfeited for failure on the part of the selected proposer to execute the proposed contract days after...." Please indicate how many days are allowed for execution after the contract is submitted to the proposer.
