Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP’S) from qualified firms to provide Emergency response cleanup and disposal or recycling of Hazardous Materials and Oil Spills and Related Services for the Jefferson Parish Department of Environmental Affairs. 
 
These services typically include the cleanup of spills at Parish facilities, drainage canals, etc., and spills on roadways when a responsible party cannot be determined or is unable to clean up the spill.  Tasks also include the removal of abandoned drums of oil or chemicals from roadsides, drainage canals, Parish rights-of-way, and Parish facilities.  Work shall include assisting the Parish with household hazardous materials collection events, and related services on as needed basis as requested by the Parish. Work includes all site management, waste characterization, handling, packaging, transportation and proper disposal/recycling of all spill materials, chemical products and other waste materials cleaned up and/or collected. The Parish reserves the right to award the contract to more than one firm.
 
All proposals will be evaluated on criteria such as vendor’s technical proposal, qualifications and experience, financial profile, proposal responsiveness, cost and other criteria more specifically defined in the RFP document. The maximum total points for each proposal are set at 100 points.
