The RFP states debris must be picked up on roads and waterways, but there are not separate line items. The cost of Roadway debris removal is far different from Waterway debris removal. It is near impossible to but out best pricing for the Parish not knowing what conditions we are working. Would you please consider making separate line items for these 2 incompatible operations. Waterway debris removal costs also differ greatly if working only with land based equipment as opposed to needing to deploy marine based equipment. We would request we are allowed to bill separate. The solicitation also says we may have to perform dredging, pumping, screening, and redistribution of sand and/or sediment in affected waterways. These operations are not related to regular vegetative or C&D debris, They require an altogether skill set as well as specialized equipment.
