Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project in conjunction with South Florida Water Management District in Polk County, Florida.  We are having a site showing and pre-bid meeting for this project to selected contractors at 10:00 AM on September 24, 2025.  We will meet at the intersection of Camp Mack Road and Collier Farm Road, Lake Wales, FL 33898. Please notify me if you intend to attend, we are attempting to coordinate access but bring personal ATV. 
 
The work on this project consists of the construction of two (2) low water crossings and associated road work along an existing dike in the Lake Hatachineha Rolling Meadow Restoration Area. The work includes the installation of two (2) low water crossings, concrete block matting, earthwork, and erosion control within the wetland area as outlined in the construction plans and specifications.
