Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Fordice Enhancement project in Issaquena County, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:

We will meet at the site.  From the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Kelso Road at Valley Park, go west on Kelso Road for 2.8 miles, then turn left on Summerall Road (Atwood Rd) and go west for 1.7 miles, then turn left and go south on Atwood Road for 0.5 miles to the north side of the property. (North 32.641374° and West 90.928745°)  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of clearing and grubbing, constructing new levees and installation of steel pipes and water control structures.  This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
