Sealed bids will be received on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 by the Town of Grand Isle (TOGI), at the Town of Grand Isle located at 170 Ludwig Lane, in Grand Isle, Louisiana until 11:00 A.M.  All bids will be publicly open and read aloud upon completion of administrative tasks at the Grand Isle Multiplex Center, 3101 Hwy 1, Grand Isle, LA 70358 after 11:00 A.M.
 
Bid documents are posted on Central Bidding. To view these, download, and receive bid notices by e-mail, you must register with Central Bidding.  Vendors/Contractors have the option to submit their bids electronically or by paper copy.   For information about the electronic submittal process, contact Ted Fleming with Central Bidding at 1-833-412-5717. 
 
Each bid shall be either hand delivered by the bidder or his agent, or such bid shall be sent by United States Postal Service registered or certified mail with a return receipt requested, or shall be submitted electronically with Central Bidding. Bids shall not be accepted or taken, including receiving any hand delivered bids, on days which are recognized as holidays by the United States Postal Service.

No bid received after the scheduled time for opening will be considered.  Failure of the U.S. Mail to deliver the bids timely shall not be considered due cause for the scheduled time of the bid opening to be extended.
 
Project Name:           Hurricane Ida Damages Restoration, Cheniere Fishing Pier Replacement
 
Project Description: The project consists of demolition of existing structure and cut all piles at the mudline.  Contractor to rebuild approximately 910 Linear Feet of the Cheniere Caminada Fishing Pier, this will include all electrical, materials, and labor for installation of this structure.
 
Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the Bidding Documents. A single set of Bidding Documents shall be issued at the cost of reproduction to contractors who are licensed by the Licensing Board of Contractors.   
 
This Project shall require a Louisiana Contractors license number for one of the following: Heavy Construction.
 
Bidding Documents for this Project are on file in the office of GIS Engineering, LLC located at 197 Elysian Dr., Houma, Louisiana, 70363 and a single copy may be obtained by each prospective bidder at a cost of $100.00 by contacting Ann Schouest or [email protected] for any clarification or information with regard to the specifications.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grand Isle Multiplex Center, located at 3101 Hwy 1 in Grand Isle, Louisiana.
