The Livingston Parish Government is seeking assistance from engineering firms for engineering and surveying services for roadway and related drainage repairs. The Project is funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) utilizing Public Assistance funds and is administered by the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP). The project will consist of the necessary surveying required to prepare plans and specifications for repairs to roads and related drainage. The selected firm must have a good understanding of the Public Bid Law. The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring that the procurement of the contractor is done in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Louisiana Public Bid Law. In addition to surveying and preparing the plans and specifications, the selected firm will be required to handle all other bidding, contractor selection, inspection, contract administration and project closeout. The selected firm will have to do any necessary record keeping to satisfy FEMA and GOHSEP documentation requirements.
