Either sealed paper bids or electronic bids for the construction of Interim Levee Improvements - Section E-South will be received by the South Lafourche Levee District located at 17904 Hwy 3235, Galliano, LA 70354 until 2:00 PM local time, September 17, 2019, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Electronic bids must be submitted through www.centralauctionhouse.com prior to electronic bidding deadline.
The Project consists of levee construction utilizing on-site borrow material.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for September 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM and will be held at the office of the South Lafourche Levee District located at 17904 Hwy 3235, Galliano, LA.
No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds a Louisiana State Contractor's License in Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, in full force and effect and in compliance with the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and Louisiana Public Bid Law.

Bidder’s cost for each set of documents is $50.00, which is the cost of reproduction. Deposits on the first set of documents, furnished to bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than 10 calendar days after receipt of bids. All sets furnished to subcontractors and suppliers will be non-refundable. Good condition is defined as free of all pencil, pen, highlighter, and other marks, free of significant tears, and free of missing sheets or pages. Partial sets of documents will not be issued.
