Advertisement for Request for Proposal                
Notice is hereby given that a sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School System Technology Department located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508. Delivery to any other department other than the Technology Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.
 
Sealed proposals will be received until November 18, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. CST for:

The Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) is accepting proposals from qualified E-Rate telecommunication service providers who can provide high-speed Internet connectivity at 10 Gb/s.  Proposals will be accepted for services to be provided under a multi-year contract with terms not to exceed 6 years -- a three-year contract with the possibility of up to three voluntary one-year extensions.
 
A Request for Proposal package may be obtained from the Purchasing Department website at www.lpssonline.com/site638.php or via Central Auction House (registration required) at https://www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Specifications will be available Wednesday October 16, 2019.
 
On November 18, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. CST, only the names of the proposal respondents will be read aloud in the Technology Department Conference Room [or LPSS SPED Conference Room].
 
The Lafayette Public School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services.  To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
