Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) Purchasing Department, 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508 for the following as delineated on the Proposal Form:
 
Bids will be marked as follows:
 
                        Woodvale Elementary Dishroom Kitchen Equipment
                        Bid #43-22
                        Opening:  March 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T.
 
The bid #43-22 is to purchase dishroom kitchen equipment for the Woodvale Elementary cafeteria dining expansion.
 
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above stated time and date in a LPSS Conference Room of the Lafayette Parish School System Central Office Building.
 
Complete bidding documents may be obtained from the Purchasing Department website at https://www.lpssonline.com/departments/business-services/purchasing under ‘Bid Specifications’.  Bid information may also be viewed online, and electronic bids may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com. Specifications will be available Thursday March 3, 2022.
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.  In accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (a)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this section, those stated in the Advertisement for Bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be waived by any public entity.
 
The Lafayette Public School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services.  To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
