The Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission will receive bids for the Taxiway “E” Rehabilitation & Widening project at the Houma-Terrebonne Airport, LaDOTD Project No: H.014723, electronically at www.centralbidding.com or in the Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission Office,10264 East Main Street, Houma, LA 70363, until Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 @ 11:00 a.m. CST, at which time and place all electronic bids will be downloaded with paper bids received publicly opened and read aloud.  Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to be present. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted.   
The work generally consists of the full depth removal of the existing 40 feet-wide taxiway "E" and the reconstruction of a 50 feet wide taxiway in place and a taxiway connector stub to tie-in to the apron connector. The project will include pavement marking and the relocation/replacement of taxiway lighting.
Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required.  Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required.
No bid may be withdrawn after bid opening for a period of Sixty (60) calendar days.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the Houma Terrebonne Airport Conference Room on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022 @ 11:00 a.m. CST.  The Conference will be virtually available via Teams, a link will be provided upon request.

Bidding and Contract Documents may be purchased from the Engineer, upon prior payment of a non-refundable plans and specs production fee of One Hundred and Twenty Dollars ($120.00) per set. An additional Forty-Five dollars ($45.00) will be charged for FedEx overnight delivery if mailing is required. The following requirements apply to this solicitation and will be made a part of any contract awarded:

The bidders must be properly licensed under Title 37, Louisiana Revised Statutes (LA R.S. 37).
 
The bidders shall certify, by submission of a proposal, that neither it nor its principals are presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in this transaction by any Federal department or agency or the State of Louisiana.
 
Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids and to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interest.
