The Project consists of work in the existing Jonesboro Hodge High School Auditorium in Jonesboro, Louisiana.The Documents were prepared by Michael L. Walpole, Architect, L.L.C. and are dated July, 2021.
The Work consists of removing existing seating, flooring & base, ceiling tiles and lighting in the auditorium and replacing them with new. Most rooms will receive new paint on all previously painted walls. New flooring and base will also be installed in the dressing rooms, stairs, vestibules and props storage rooms.
The general contractor is to remove existing auditorium seating and properly dispose of as per local and state codes. Then, the abatement contractor (hired under a separate contract) is to remove the floor tile, base, mastic and ground smooth existing auditorium seating bolts. The general contractor shall then begin new work.
All work associated with the removal of the auditorium lighting and the replacement with new lighting shall be considered Additive Alternate #1.
