REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Purchase and Installation of an
80 Ton Air Cooled Chiller Replacement
Sealed bids will be received by the Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury at 160 East Main Street, Courthouse Annex Building, New Roads, Louisiana until 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2017 and then publicly opened and read for the purchase and installation of the following:
One (1) 80 ton Air Cooled Chiller Replacement
Scope of Work:
•   Disconnect and remove the existing Carrier air cooled chiller from the  mechanical yard.
•   Provide and install one (1) Carrier 80 ton air cooled chiller in the place of the removed
     equipment.
•   Fabricate and install the necessary chilled water piping to allow for connection between
     the new chiller and the existing pipe.
•   Insulate all chilled water piping affected by the installation of the new equipment.
•   Reconnect the existing electrical infrastructure to the new equipment.
•   Provide factory authorized startup of the new equipment and verify proper operation of
    all installed items.
·         Provide the necessary lifting and rigging of equipment and materials.
·         Provide electrical work beyond disconnecting and reconnecting of equipment.
 
Bid to be submitted in sealed envelope marked "BID--80 TON AIR COOLED CHILLER REPLACEMENT.”
