GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
Electronic proposals will be received by the Assumption Parish School Board until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May
24, 2021 at the Assumption Parish School Board, Maintenance Department, 5542 Hwy. 308, Napoleonville,
Louisiana, at which time proposals in accordance with the following specifications will be publicly opened. This
is for the purpose of GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL at all school locations, including the Head
Start Office, and Assumption Parish School Board Office.
Proposal prices shall specifically EXCLUDE any and all taxes whatsoever. Act 1029 exempts local governments
from state and local tax effective September 1, 1991.
Electronic proposal information can be downloaded at www.centralbidding.com. For questions related to
submitting your electronic proposal, call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. Electronic proposals for GARBAGE
COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL are due by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021.
It is the responsibility of the contractor to see that the proposal is submitted before the time of opening.
Proposals will only be received electronically. Proposals which are hand delivered will not be accepted. The
timely electronic delivery, of proposals, is solely the responsibility of the contractor. Any proposal received
after the scheduled closing time will not be accepted.
The Assumption Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any and all quotations and to waive any and all
informalities or to accept any proposals that may serve its’ best interest.
