Listing Information/Advertisement:
This project consists of raising the existing roadway & replacing the existing drainage system underneath. The existing roadway will be sawcut & demolished to the limits shown on the plans. Excavation will be required for removal of existing & installation of new drainage structures. After the new drainage system is installed, the roadway grade will be raised as shown on the plans & a new asphalt roadway will be placed. Concrete demolition, temporary shoring & new reinforced concrete will be required at outfall.

Contractors may request a bid package from Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. at 4176 Canal Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70119, either by phone at (504) 486-5901 (Kim Henry) or by email at [email protected] upon deposit of $50.00 for each set of documents. Deposit on the first set is fully refundable to all bonafide prime Bidders upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids. Fifty percent of the deposit of all other sets of documents will be refunded upon return of
documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids, as stated above.
Bidders are invited to attend an Optional Pre-Bid Conference at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the Orleans Levee District, 6920 Franklin Avenue, Administration Building, New Orleans, Louisiana 70122.
