ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
 
Separate sealed bids will be received by the Terrebonne Council on Aging located at 995 West Tunnel Blvd., Houma, LA 70360 for Terrebonne Council on Aging, Main Office Parking Lot Improvements, on the 31st day of August, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.  (Time shall be established by the receptionist desk clock at the above referenced address), at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
 
Complete Bidding Documents may be obtained in PDF electronic format from the Architect, MSH Architects, LLC, 229 East Kirkland St., Covington, LA 70433, (985) 898-0303. [email protected]. They may be obtained without charge and without deposit.
 
All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project.

The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
 
A pre-bid conference will be held on the 10th day of August, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the project site, 995 West Tunnel Blvd., Houma LA 70360. Bidders are strongly urged to attend and participate in the conference.
 
Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of: BUILDING CONSTRUCTION and License Type: COMMERCIAL LICENSE. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214.

The Owner reserves the right, in accordance with law, to reject any and all bids.
