MECHANICAL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS AT PEARL RIVER COUNTY JAIL

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Pearl River County, Mississippi at the County Administrator’s Office, 207 West Pearl Street, Poplarville, Mississippi, until 10:00 AM on the 30th day of October 2018 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for the HVAC Mechanical Equipment, incidentals, and installation of new 75 ton HVAC mechanical unit at the Pearl River County Jail located in Millard, MS. The equipment and work shall consist of supplying a new 75 ton HAVC Mechanical Equipment, disconnection and selective demolition of the existing unit, reconnection of existing ductwork, electrical wiring & connection of the new unit, electrical back up connection, new condensate drain lines, mechanical startup, testing, adjusting, & balancing, providing all labor, incidental materials, and equipment necessary for the complete and proper installation of the HVAC mechanical unit, and related work as described in the Contract Documents. Work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents. Contract Documents required for bidding purposes may be examined and obtained from Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS 39466, 601-799-1037. A non-refundable deposit of One Hundred Dollars ($100) made payable to Dungan Engineering is required at the time of the request for bid documents or official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.
Bid Bond shall not be required for this project. An executed affidavit will be required to accompany the bid. A performance and payment bond will be required of the successful bidder.
Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders found in the Contract Documents. The Pearl River County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
