Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project on the Busseltown Unit of the Tennessee NWR located in Decatur County, Tennessee. We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:

We will meet at the parking area with kiosk on the left side of the road, just up the hill from the site, which is located on Mouse Tail Road.  To get there take Hwy. 431 east of Parsons, TN for approximately 2.5 miles to Mouse Tail Road.  Turn north onto Mouse Tail Road and go approximately 4 miles to the site.  (North 35° 40’ 20” and West 88° 01’ 59”)  
 
The work on this project consists of clearing and grubbing, pouring a concrete headwall, installation of two 48” steel pipes, installation of two 48” sluice gates, installing a steel catwalk, rock riprap placement, plugging an existing concrete pipe, crushed rock surfacing, demolition of a concrete building and seeding disturbed areas.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
