The Acadia Parish Police Jury is accepting proposals for grant writing consulting services via online bidding through mail-in proposals sent to P.O. Box A, Crowley, LA 70526 or by in-person drop off at the receptionist desk at the Police Jury Administrative Building located at 505 NE Court CE, Crowley, LA 70526. Proposals will be accepted until 4:30 P.M. local time on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021. The work consists of professional consulting services to assist with participation and qualification for grant opportunities, including but not limited to federally-funded opportunities from the Office of Community Development (OCD), the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The consultant/firm will provide assistance and support for grant management, compliance, and administrative services in connection with its applications for reimbursement or endorsement from the State of Louisiana and Federal agencies for federally declared disasters, award opportunities, and events which may be a benefit to the parish.
 
Interested firms may secure the RFP documents and all other pertinent information by visiting https://www.centralauctionhouse.com or by emailing [email protected] with a request for relevant RFP documents. Proposals may be submitted online at the Central Auction House website, by physical mail, or by bringing it directly to the Police Jury Administrative Office. If a physical copy is submitted to the Acadia Parish Police Jury, then a minimum of three (3) copies of the proposal will be required. The Jury may contact applicants after the submission deadline to schedule a presentation. Presentations may be in-person or performed online via applications such as Zoom.

All proposals shall be received no later than the date and time specified above, at which time they will be opened before no fewer than three (3) members of the Acadia Parish Police Jury as witnesses at the Acadia Parish Police Jury Administrative Office, the address of which is listed above. Late proposals will not be accepted, regardless of the reason.
 
The Acadia Parish Police Jury (i) will award the project to the most qualified vendor as determined by the selection committee; (ii) reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive any submittal informalities, and to re-advertise for proposals when deemed in the best interest of the parish; and (iii) hereby notifies all respondents that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged businesses will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status or national origin in consideration for an award. Respondents shall not lobby or otherwise attempt to persuade or influence the Police Jury members, officials, or staff on decisions to be made relating to the RFP, except in public presentations requested by the Jury.
