NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Southaven, Mississippi will receive written sealed bids until the hour of ­­10 o’clock a.m. local time, on August 9, 2018 at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Southaven, at the following address:

Bids are only received for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and for the construction of that certain project designated as “Fire Service Extension (Phase 2)”.  Project Drawings and Specifications are on file and can be viewed at the office of the City Clerk.
 
Bids are for construction of improvements to the existing water system for fire protection services.  This project includes the installation of water main pipe, fire hydrants, gate valves, water service lines and other required improvements.
 
The total Contract Time will be 190 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $200.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
 
Copies of the drawings and specifications, together with contract documents, may be obtained from the office stated below, with payment of $100.00 for each set, none of which is refundable:
