NOTICE TO BIDDERS 
Sealed bids will be received by the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office Purchasing Division, until June 24, 2025, 10:00 A.M. for the following:
 
The following items are being advertised for bidding for a twelve (12) month period beginning July 01, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
 
Equipment for Patrol vehicles with installation  
 
At precisely 10:00 A.M. bids will be opened and read aloud by the Purchasing Agent, bid proposals, amendments to bid or request for withdrawal of bids received after time specified for bid openings shall not be considered for any cause whatsoever. Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to be present. No other information or tabulations will be available until awards are made after all bids are fully checked as to specifications and accuracy. We reserve the right to divide items to avail ourselves of the low bid.
 
Bids received after the specified time or from vendors further than a 25 mile radius of 101 South State Street, Abbeville, LA will not be considered. Within the warranty period the winning bidder, shall pickup and service the items at a time acceptable to the department.
 
The bid proposal is firm for a period from July 01, 2025, through June 30, 2026, and no bid proposal can be withdrawn for any reason during this period of time.
 
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bidder’s bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid only when requested.
