IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS Bid Law Requirement Update: Act 406 Electronic Bond Submission May Be Required
Vendors will be required to submit certain documentation with bid submission, i.e. affidavits, proof of insurance, etc. These requirements will be outlined specifically in the instructions of each bid package. Vendors should continue to carefully read and respond accordingly per the requirements of the bid packages. These changes are pursuant Louisiana Public Bid Law more specifically, Act 406 of the 2016 Louisiana Legislative Regular Session. For the purposes of this communication, this change applies to Jefferson Parish Government bid solicitations only. For more information, please call Jefferson Parish Purchasing at 504-364-2678.
If the bid documents require a surety, vendors submitting responses to Jefferson Parish through this site must submit an electronic bond through the respective online clearinghouse bond management system(s).

Price includes furnishing new materials necessary along with reusing all existing salvageable material. Removal of the existing system by other trades could result in additional cost. Price is based on Bonded retaining the materials removed from the project. Price is based on the existing downleads and grounds being undamaged for the system to be complete. 2) Upon completion, we will provide a Bonded Lightning Protection Certification stating the work performed complies with lightning protection standards as written by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., the National Fire Protection Association, and the Lightning Protection Institute. NOTE: Price is based on current commodity market prices. Exclusions 1) Roofing Contractor to furnish and install the flashing and sealing for (12) roof penetrations. 2) Price is based on all roof mounted lightning protection equipment being adhered/fastened directly to roof surface. Excludes roof pads, membrane strips, parapet/vertical brackets, etc. If required by roof manufacturer (or others) these items will be required to be furnished and installed by the roof contractor. For roof pads (480) locations are required for lightning protection, all other roof equipment to be coordinated for location quantities. 3) Price does not include lightning rated surge devices at the main electrical and communication service entrances.
