REQUEST FOR BIDS
 
The Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County, Florida, will receive bids for roof repairs on the existing roof of the old field house located at 1153 US Hwy 41 NW, Jasper, Florida 32052.
 
The scope of work for the project will be provided at a MANDATORY pre-bid conference at the site beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025. All persons intending to submit a bid for this project MUST BE PRESENT AT THAT TIME AND PLACE.  Bids/proposals submitted by a person or company not in attendance at the pre-bid conference will not be considered.

All bidders must provide proof of current Florida Building Contractor and Roofing Contractor license, as well as proof of workers’ compensation and general liability insurance.
 
Hamilton County’s Procurement Policy allows for a 5% local vendor preference.

“FIELD HOUSE ROOF REPAIR” 
You may file your bid in the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Hamilton County Courthouse, 207 NE First Street, Room 106, Jasper, Florida 32052, any time before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025.  Bids may be mailed or hand-delivered to the Clerk’s Office.  All bids received after this date and time will not be considered.
 
The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to refuse any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause, and/or to accept the bid that in their best judgment will be for the best interest of Hamilton County.
 
“A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building, or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.”
