Listing Information/Advertisement:

The work on this project consists of constructing and hydroseed planting 450 LF of storm protection rock riprap armored levee. Additionally, work includes of clearing and grubbing, renovating an existing storm protection levee, resloping, installation of geotextile underlayment fabric and rock riprap, hydroseeding the finished levee. The work included in this project consist of water access for all personnel, equipment, and materials. This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications.
Contract completion time is 45 calendar days. Anticipated Notice to Proceed timeframe is the end of November.

Additional Notes/Requirements

We are having a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 10:00AM on October 16, 2023. We will meet at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries – White Lake Conservation Area – Boat Launch (Florence Canal Boat Landing) at the southmost end of Hwy. 92, south of Gueydan, LA. All attendees are encouraged to provide their own personal floatation devices and own means of boat travel, as the site is 10.9 miles from the LDWF Florence Canal Boat Landing. Please see the attached vicinity map or Sheet 3 of the plans.
