ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Hattiesburg at the Hattiesburg City Council Chamber located at 200 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, MS, 39401 until 10:00 a.m. local time on Friday, December 21, 2018, at which time all proposals will be opened and read aloud for:
Hattiesburg Public Safety Complex
701 James Street
Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39401
Bid documents may be obtained in hard copy form for a deposit of $500.00 per set of documents, made payable to Albert & McCleskey Associate Architects. 50% of the deposit will be refunded to all document holders upon the return of the documents to the Architect in good condition no later than 10 calendar days after the bid date. Official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. Bid preparation shall be in accordance with Instructions to Bidders bound in the Project Manual.
A Pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hattiesburg Public Safety Complex site. Attendance by all Bidders is strongly encouraged.
Each bid must be received in a sealed envelope which is marked in the lower left-hand corner with the legend,
“Hattiesburg Public Safety Complex Bid Package”.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The lowest and best proposal received will be accepted, subject to the provisions of Section 31-7-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated and Amended, and other applicable State law; but the Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received and to waive informalities or irregularities therein.
