The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of The City of Amory, Mississippi will receive separate sealed Bids for the, Lagoon Baffle Repairs, Contract No. 23-1616-40, Bid File No. 2024-18. The work consists of straightening and re-aligning the existing lagoon baffles in both the 15 acre and 28 acre City of Amory wastewater lagoons and replacing all existing cables from the ends of all baffles to anchors placed in the levees.  The City of Amory will provide all new anchors in the existing levees.   The contractor will be required to provide all new cables with integral float piping along with all new hardware to connect the cables to each baffle and anchor, as well as securing the new cables to the new integral pipe floats.  
 
Bids are to be submitted as a Lump Sum for all work.  The approximately total length of cables to be replaced is 2,800 linear feet.
 
The City of Amory will receive Bids until 2:00 PM local time, May 16, 2024 at the City Hall, Amory, MS.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.  The outside of the Bid envelope shall be marked with the project title, name and address of the Bidder and current Contractor’s license number.

SUBMITTAL OF SEALED BIDS:  Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the instructions to bidders which are bound in the Project Manual.  The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
 
SUBMITTAL OF ELECTRONIC BIDS:  Electronic bids can be submitted at

Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
 
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.  No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
