REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
BULKHEAD CONSTRUCTION & REPAIR SERVICES
TOWN OF HORSESHOE BEACH, FLORIDA
The Town of Horseshoe Beach is soliciting sealed proposals from licensed and experienced contractors for bulkhead construction and/or repair at multiple sites throughout the Town. Work may include new construction, structural repairs, shoreline stabilization, and related marine construction services.
This project is part of the Town’s coastal resiliency and infrastructure improvement efforts and may be funded in whole or in part by federal or state disaster recovery funds. All applicable regulations, including those under the Federal Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), shall apply.
Scope of Work Includes: - Site assessment and evaluation of existing bulkhead conditions - Design and engineering for new and replacement bulkheads - Demolition and removal of damaged or deteriorated bulkhead structures - Installation of new bulkhead systems (vinyl, steel, concrete, or timber) - Anchoring systems, tie-backs, and deadman support structures - Backfilling and grading behind bulkheads - Environmental protection and erosion control measures - All required permits and inspections
Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. (EST) at:

Firms not in attendance at the pre-bid meeting will not be eligible to submit proposals. Official Bid Documents are available on the Central Bidding website (www.centralbidding.com).
