Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Holt Collier NWR in Washington County, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:

We will meet at the site.  The site is on the north side of Hwy. 12, approximately 5.6 miles east of the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 12 at Hollandale, MS.  (North 33° 11’ 04” and West 90° 45’ 13”)  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of clearing and grubbing, renovating existing levees, resloping pond bottoms, installation of water control structures, seeding the finished levees, installing water wells and underground piping, supplying a trailer mounted power unit and decommissioning existing wells.  This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
