The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
                                                                                            
JACKSON HOSPITAL AIR PURIFICATION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Jackson County Administration Office located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL 32448 until Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Commission Board Room.  
 
The Project includes the following Work:
Renovation of the HVAC system and associated components on the third floor of the Jackson Hospital, located at 4250 Hospital Drive, Marianna, Florida. The renovations will allow each patient room to have fixed, individualized positive and negative air pressure capabilities. Additionally, electrical work will be performed to install individualized controls in each room and fixed filtration systems will be installed at the entry point to each room to act as fail safe in the event that pressure control is lost.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment (non-refundable), printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Bidding Documents are available for purchase in the following formats:
Format:
Bidding Documents (including Full-Size Drawings) - $125.00
Bidding Documents (including Half-Size Drawings) - $100.00
Bidding Documents (Electronic Copies) – No payment required.
 
 
Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM local time at the office of David H. Melvin, Inc. located at 4428 Lafayette Street, Marianna, FL 32446.
