INVITATION TO BID – ASCENSION PARISH SHERIFF’S OFFICE – ENGINEERED METAL BUILDING
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office will be accepting sealed bids for the construction of the following:
- Engineered Metal Building, approximately 58 feet wide by 90 feet long. Construction to include all materials, concrete footings, rebar and labor. The location of the building will be at the rear of the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Firing Range, located at 9134 St. Landry Road, Gonzales, Louisiana.
Detailed specifications are available and may be obtained from the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Training Center, 9094 St. Landry Road, Gonzales, Louisiana during regular business hours – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The detailed specifications and instructions may also be obtained by phoning Sgt. Brad Carpenter at 225-202-4210.
There will be a meeting at the proposed site of the building at 9:00 a.m. on March 28, 2016 for prospective bidders to observe the area where the building will be placed and to have answered any questions regarding the construction or bid process. It is recommended that prospective bidders attend this site meeting.
The successful bidder must supply documentation that the bidder is licensed, bonded and insured. Bidder must also provide any and all permits, materials and labor associated with the project.
Bids will be opened on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Parish Courthouse, 300 Houmas Street, Suite E, Donaldsonville, Louisiana.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Sealed Bid for Engineered Metal Building.”
Bids may be delivered to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Parish Courthouse, 300 Houmas Street, Suite E, Donaldsonville, Louisiana or mailed to P.O. Box 268, Donaldsonville, LA 70346, in time for the bid opening. Business hours at the Donaldsonville location are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
