REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) from qualified firms to provide twice weekly solid waste collection and recycling collection from identified East Bank and West Bank Parish offices and facilities, which are currently serviced with commercial dumpster or compacter type containers and any additional Parish office and/or facilities as directed during the term of the contract.
Dumpster containers for solid waste storage and collection are supplied by the Parish office or facility. Proposers are to provide, maintain, repair and service compactors at a monthly unit cost.
The successful proposer shall be paid for twice weekly collection from Parish offices and facilities which place multi-cubic yard containers (dumpsters/compactors) as in standard commercial service. Payment for the service is based on the container cubic yards per month.
The proposal price for collection from parish offices and facilities shall include all collection, hauling labor, equipment (excluding dumpsters), material and all else incidental to provide the service.
All proposals will be evaluated on criteria such as vendor’s technical proposal, qualifications and experience, financial profile and proposal responsiveness and other criteria more specifically defined in the RFP document. The maximum total points for each proposal are set at 100 points
