BID NOTICE

Sealed bids will be received by the Livingston Parish Government at the Livingston Parish Government Purchasing Office, located
on the 2nd floor of the Livingston Parish Health Unit, 29261 South Frost Road, Livingston, Louisiana 70754 (mailing address PO
Box 427, Livingston, LA 70754) until Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. (CST). The bids will be publicly opened and read
aloud for the following:

BRIDGE MATERIAL & ROUND TIMBER PILES

TO BE DELIVERED TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATION:
LIVINGSTON PARISH DPW
28325 CHARLEY WATTS RD
LIVINGSTON, LA 70754

BRIDGE MATERIAL
SPECIFICATIONS: All lumber and timbers will be grade #2 or better, Southern Pine, in accordance with 2014 Standard Grading
Rules for SPIB and treated in accordance with AWPA Use Category System, Section 2, U1 Standards, UC4A or Above.

ROUND TIMBER PILES
SPECIFICATIONS: All piling will meet specifications in accordance with ASTM D-25 Class B Round Timber Piles specifications and
treated in accordance with AWPA Use Category System, Section 2, U1 Standards, UC4C or Above for land and freshwater use.

Bids will be submitted for a twelve (12) month period and awarded on an all or none type basis. MUST BID ON ALL PIECES.

Upon the approval by the Livingston Parish Council, the bidder with the most items, at the lowest price, will be awarded the
bid from the date of the Council's approval, for a (12) month period.

Delivery of material must be made within twenty-five (25) days of the purchase order. If the delivery cannot be made within
twenty-five (25) working days, the original purchase order issued will be canceled, and a new purchase order will be issued to
the next lowest bidder.

Bidding Documents may be obtained at the Livingston Parish Government Purchasing Department located on the 2nd floor of
the Livingston Parish Health Unit, 29261 South Frost Road, Livingston, Louisiana 70754.

Livingston Parish Government reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, Response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for
Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or
is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.

In accordance with R.S. 38:2214(B), Livingston Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
