The Pontchartrain Levee District hereby advertises for bids for the Pontchartrain Levee District New Administrative Complex, under PLD Project No. 08-61KK as follows: Contract Owner: Pontchartrain Levee District Contract Name: Pontchartrain Levee District New Administrative Complex Principal Work Location: The Contract Work will be performed at 2069 Railroad Avenue and cross street (Texas Street), Lutcher, LA Description of Basic Work: The Contract Work includes the construction of a new administration office building for the Pontchartrain Levee District. The project includes an office building and board room with general offices, conference rooms, training area, reception area, a break room, and service/support spaces. In addition, the building includes a shared lobby for the office building and the PLD’s board room, including their executive conference room. The scope of work also includes all associated site work and paving for the parking layout, building signage, and site and building lighting. Bids: Sealed Bids must be received by the PONTCHARTRAIN LEVEE DISTRICT, at their office either by mail at P.O. Box 426, Lutcher, Louisiana 70071; hand delivery at 2204 South Albert Street, Lutcher, Louisiana; or electronic bid submission at www.centralbidding.com no later than 5:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, March 17, 2016. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the DISTRICT BOARD ROOM as the First Agenda item of the 6:00 PM meeting.
