REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION (RFQ)
Master Land Use Plan 2
The Parish of Ascension hereby requests qualifications from experienced and qualified professional planning consultants to create a Comprehensive Plan, "Comprehensive Plan" is the equivalent of "Master Plan" under Louisiana Revised Statutes, for the unincorporated portions of the Parish of Ascension. Additionally, the consultant will provide coordination and leadership services to coordinate the Comprehensive Plan with the Master Transportation Plan, currently under production with a separate consultant and the Master Floodplain Management Plan, currently under production with a separate consultant. Proposals will be received by Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 (mailing address PO Box 2392, Gonzales, LA 70707-2392) until October 31, 2017, at 4:00 pm local time.
Firms/individuals who are interested in providing services requested under this RFQ must submit one (1) original and four (4) copies of an offer. The offer shall be received in hard copy (printed) version by Ascension Parish Government, Purchasing Department, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, LA 70737 on or before 4:00p.m. CST on the date specified in the Schedule of Events. Firms/individual submitting RFQ documents electronically must submit one (1) original and four (4) copies of an offer within 24 hours of the Proposal submission deadline.
Specifications may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government, Purchasing Department located at 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for just cause.
