REPLACEMENT OF (2) TWO BOILERS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by The Hospital Service District of West Feliciana Parish Louisiana (the “Owner”) for the following equipment:
 
Replacement of (2) two 550MBH Input Atmospheric Boilers, as more fully set forth in the Invitation for Bid (“IFB”).
 
IFBs are available for download and examination beginning at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 12, 2020.  Bid documents are posted on http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.  To view these, download, and receive bid notices by e-mail, you must register with Central Auction House (“CAH”).  For information about the electronic submittal process, contact Ted Fleming with Central Auction House at 1-866-570-9620.  
 
The deadline for the submission of electronic bids through CAH’s website is 1:00PM on Monday, March 30, 2020 (“Deadline”).  Bids received by the Deadline will then be opened and read publically aloud. Bids submitted after the Deadline will not be considered. Bidders must submit bids electronically.  Hand delivered, faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.  Subsequent to the opening, bids will be evaluated by the Owner based on the lowest responsible bid submitted which is also in compliance with the specifications set forth in the IFB.  Bids which have not bid in accordance with the requirements of the IFB shall not be considered.  The Owner will then either reject bids, hold bids for further evaluation or issue a notice of intent to award a contract to the lowest and most responsible and responsive bidder.
 
No bidder may withdraw its bid for at least forty-five (45) days after the time scheduled for the opening of bids. Each bid shall be submitted electronically on the bid form provided by the Owner in the IFB.
 
The Owner does not discriminate based on social and economic disadvantage, race, color, sex, gender, age, disability or national origin. All small and minority-owned firms and women’s business enterprises are encouraged to apply.
