I am curious about the scope of work that would be involved. Would this be to provide court reporting services for depositions taken by City Attorneys or would it be for meetings, such as planning committee meetings, City Council meetings, etc.? Court reporting would be done on an as needed basis for the Parish including but not limited to all Parish departments, board and commissions. Also, would the scheduling of a court reporter be done a couple of weeks prior to depositions/meetings? Boards and commissions would contact you for meetings if a court reporter is necessary. The legal department would contact you for any depositions. And yes, the reporter would be notified a few weeks before the meeting/deposition.
